Release notes

Every update tells
a new chapter.

Follow the evolution of Fantasy Walk and discover the features, improvements, and fixes included in each version.

Version

1.2.8

Build 28

New feature

Rebuild carriage stations in all five villages, befriend regional draft animals, and spend Wayfarer Pennies to travel quickly between places you have already discovered. A timetable and personal travel journal are included.

New feature

Start whiskling expeditions directly from outposts. In the untouched wilds, you get another sighting chance every 800 steps and can track the region's research progress right on site.

Improvement

Your class now shapes your adventure more strongly: Rangers discover extra loot, Pirates get better prices, Warriors fight more efficiently, and Mages craft bonus items. Later, you can also change your class in the Hall of Fate.

Improvement

The former estate overview is now the Village Chronicle, bringing the progress of your estates, herb beds, carriage stations, and draft animals together in one clear place.

New feature

After completing your first adventure, you can rate Fantasy Walk directly from the app. The request deliberately appears on a later app launch and can be postponed or dismissed permanently.

Bug fix

If your Guild Pass expires, the next app launch now reliably returns you from the Star Citadel to the main village of your character's region.

Improvement

The guild status screen now shows whether your Guild Pass is active, how long it remains valid, and whether it will renew automatically or has already been cancelled. A personal farewell dialog explains when access has actually expired.

Bug fix

Temporary connection problems with the subscription service are no longer treated as a confirmed Guild Pass expiration and will not trigger a farewell or a return from the Star Citadel.

Bug fix

Temporary network and token errors no longer end existing Firebase sessions, preserving anonymous accounts and linked subscriptions.

Version

1.2.7

Build 27

New feature

Embark on step expeditions into the wild from the guild house: Discover all 50 elusive whisklings in the almanac, and collect gifts as well as mysterious speed potions. In the guild settings, you can choose whether your research progress is visible to others.

Improvement

The required step count for challenging creatures has been increased.

Improvement

New feature

On the history screen (“Your Past Adventures”), a new filter bar allows targeted filtering by expeditions, quests, and routes with dynamic match counts.

Improvement

In the food dialog, a new indicator clearly shows how many hours remain before the next speed penalty or whether a penalty is already active.

Version

1.2.6

Build 26

New feature
